Pantry support staff for offices in Mumbai & Maharashtra
A well-run pantry is the part of an office everyone notices when it fails. BFM supplies trained, groomed pantry staff who handle tea/coffee rounds and beverage stations, boardroom and meeting-room service, crockery and appliance hygiene, indenting and stock tracking of consumables and coordination with your vendors — so your admin team does not have to.
What is included
- Resident pantry staff per floor or per zone, with a supervisor for larger sites.
- Beverage and snack service to desks, meeting rooms and reception.
- Daily pantry cleaning, appliance and refrigerator hygiene, crockery management.
- Consumable indenting, stock registers and monthly usage reports.
- Event and townhall support with additional headcount on request.
Where we serve
Corporate offices in Mumbai (BKC, Lower Parel, Andheri, Goregaon), Thane and Navi Mumbai, and Pune. Pantry staff are usually bundled with our housekeeping contract under one supervisor and one invoice.
Pricing
Per head per month, including uniforms, statutory components and replacement cover. Consumables are billed at actuals or supplied by you.
How a BFM contract starts
- Site walk-through — we inspect the premises, map recurring issues and note access, shifts and safety requirements. Nothing is quoted from a template.
- Scope & staffing plan — a written scope, headcount, shift pattern, equipment list and SLA tailored to the site.
- Mobilisation — verified, trained and uniformed staff deployed with a supervisor; checklists and registers set up on day one.
- Review — monthly reports, inspection scores and a review meeting so standards keep rising.
Reporting & accountability
Every BFM site runs on supervisor checklists, attendance records and incident logs. You receive a monthly report with completed schedules, issues raised and closed, consumable usage and statutory documentation — the paperwork your auditors, committee or management ask for. If you bundle several services (for example housekeeping, pantry and technical AMC), they sit under one supervisor structure and one invoice.

Common questions
How many pantry staff does an office need?
A common starting ratio is one pantry attendant per 60-80 staff, or one per floor where floors are self-contained, with a supervisor once the team passes four attendants. The real number depends on how your office actually works — the number of meeting rooms served, whether lunch is catered on site, visitor volume, and whether the same team handles pantry stock and dishwashing. BFM sizes the deployment during the walk-through rather than applying the ratio blindly.
Do you supply tea, coffee and pantry consumables?
Either model works. BFM can manage indenting and stock control against your existing vendors, so your rates and relationships stay in place, or supply consumables directly and bill at actuals with monthly consumption reporting. Most corporate clients prefer the first for beverages and the second for disposables and cleaning materials. Whichever you choose, stock is counted weekly and reported so shortages are visible before they reach a meeting room.
Can the same team support events and townhalls?
Yes. Additional pantry headcount for townhalls, board meetings, client visits and offsites is arranged on request, usually with a few days' notice, and billed as an event deployment rather than folded into the monthly rate. Where events are frequent, some clients build a standing allowance into the contract instead. The advantage of using the same team is that they already know your floors, your meeting rooms and your senior visitors.
How is pantry support priced?
Pantry support is priced per deployed attendant per month, inclusive of wages, statutory contributions, uniforms and supervision. Consumables are separate and handled on whichever model you choose. Event deployments are charged per person per shift. Because pantry staff are often the most visible people in an office, BFM prices for trained, presentable staff with low turnover rather than for the lowest possible headcount rate.
Are pantry staff trained in hygiene and food handling?
Yes. Pantry attendants are trained in personal hygiene, handwashing discipline, safe handling of beverages and food brought on site, correct use of cleaning chemicals in a food area, and the separation of pantry cleaning from general housekeeping tasks. Staff are police-verified before deployment and issued uniforms and identity cards. Where a client's premises fall under food-safety requirements, BFM aligns the pantry routine to the documentation those requirements expect.
What happens if a pantry attendant leaves?
Replacement is BFM's responsibility, not yours. A departure is covered from the reliever pool while a permanent replacement is recruited, inducted and introduced to your floor by the supervisor, so the service does not visibly dip during the changeover. Attendance and turnover are reported monthly. Persistent churn in a pantry team is usually a symptom of understaffing or an underpriced contract, and BFM would rather raise that than quietly let service quality slide.
